Our first open air Summer show

A Midsummer Night's Dream was the group's first open air production.

It was staged in the grounds of Manfield Hospital on Kettering Road, Northampton, and heralded the start of more than 80 years of open air productions.

The group, established in 1931 as The Northampton Town and County Drama League, later became the Northampton Drama Club and then Masque Theatre.
